Just curious. Been thinking of doing a 2200 mile trip this summer and was wondering if there are any other people that are sick in the head.

I rode on my 05 636 from central Iowa to southwest Kansas...like 9er says...never again...

Kilaman and I are talking about riding cross country from Savannah,Ga. to San Diego possibly next year. Still trying to work out the logistics of it. I think its about 2400 miles. However the longest I've ridden is about 2.5 hrs one way.

I'm hoping to take mine on a 1600 mile trip this fall. Going to ride from Panama City, FL to the Indy MotoGP. Its around 800 miles each way. I had planned on 2 days up, 2 days back - 400 miles a day.

I'm gonna do a cross country trip next year. From philly to cali and back in 2-3 weeks. Not sure if I'm gonna do it on my 636 or buy a vfr or bmw.

No it would make the trip worst...Tickets is all you would get fast!

Don't know how you guys do it... I did a 300 mile ride in the canyons and was in a world of pain afterwards.

Eh.... In one weekend I've done almost a 1000 miles. Not to bad.

It'll suck if it's all straight interstate. I'd rather do 4hrs of back roads rather than 2hrs of interstate.

i rode to florida, took me three days (mostly from stopping in pain) it was amazing in tennesse the rest sucked pain wise... it is slightly painful if you don't ride often but its still fun, nothing like experiencing road travel on a bike
