Hi

I measured the ear wheel nut and the tripple tree clamp nut and this is what I came up with. Can someone that know please confirm this before I go out and buy the sockets....

wheel - 30mm
trip clamp - 35mm

36 mm for the nut on triple tree

32 mm on the rear wheel.

i bought both sockets from sears for under $15

Yeppers, 32mm on the axle nut and 36mm on the stem nut. The tool kit has a tool for the rear axle nut if you need one right away.

Do you guys also carry the appropriate torque settings around in your wallets for these two nuts?

According to the 2005 zx6r service manual, The rear axle nut torque should be 94 ft-lb. Steering stem head nut at 58 ft-lb.

thanks, how does that translate to newton metres of torque?

Rear axle nut 127 N-m
Steering stemp head nut 78 N-m
