Where can I find bar end mirrors that fit the Z1000? How do you clamp them on the bar when there isn't much space between the bar end and the grip? Looking online at a few retailers, I've seen Motrax bar end mirrors and the CRG ones.

I like the CRG folding ones, and was wondering do they fit the Z1000 and how would it mount on the bar-ends?

Thanks.

You can get them at dealer, cycle gear, & ebay.
The hardest part is removing the weights they're put on with locktite. I'm using Lockhart Phillips barends with CRG Blindsight mirrors.
You can put a spacer between the weights & bars or move the conrtols in a little. Or you can mill your weights down to the same diameter as the bars.

Here's a thread with pictures.

I used the CRG Blindsight mirrors. they are only 2" mirrors, not the 3" mirrors, much cleaner looking imo. I used an impact driver(and hammer) to get the bar ends off, as you WILL MOST LIKELY STRIP the screws if you try to use a screw driver(unless you do something else like heat them up first). I didn't think about moving the controls in some(good idea), i just put the mirrors on, then put the barends back on with some more loctite, and made sure on the throttle side not to squeeze the mirror onto the throttle grip. i probly will replace the bar ends sometime, just looking for the heaviest i can find.

i got mine from http://solomotoparts.com that was the best deal i could find
