I had to remove and replace my tank recently so I forget how the tube is connected on the opposite side of the tube. Was this connected to anything or just routed somewhere? Tell me where to route it as the stock set-up was.

I take the tank off mine 2 or 3 times a month for cleaning of the K&N. The hose is not connected to anything at the bottom, it just hangs there. One my '02 if I am sitting on the bike there is a small guide hole under the seat, under your right thigh where the tube is routed through. Again, no clamps for connections, it just hangs there.

I'll look again for the guidehole but I didn't see one anywhere when I looked last week on my 01.

my 98 has no guide hole. it just goes sorta infront of master cylinger and down beside right swingarm. It ends just above the exaust tube.

I found the guide hole but the tube is so long that it has major slack after it goes through it. Where are you guys routing the rest of the tube?

My tube goes all the way down to just below the swing arm. If it's too long you can always just cut a couple inches off to where you want it to hang at. The lower the better for drainage, so it doesn't get all over the under side of your bike.
