Do European models have white face/instrument gauges? The brochures in the states show pictures with them but are not on any of the bikes. I will be ordering aftermarket gauges but really like the looks of those stock white faced.

In the last issue of BIKE, a UK rag, they did a really nice spread on the 636 from Europe and the pics of the instruments are the same as ours, no white face.

It's days like this I wish I still did drugs!

Yes, I have found 2-3 sites that make aftermarket ones. I wish I could find ones like in factory/brochures. I had emailed graphicartmotodesign like 3 different times about making me some for the 6. They said a month... then this then that. They probably won't get around until next year. That's one thing I hate about our bikes is that everyone makes shit for them last. Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki always comes first. Even though there are probably more of them out there.

Once they make the illumiglo faceplates, I'll have them on my website and you can have the lighting changed to match.

Here is a pic of the new R1 gauges with blue lighting and reverse style illumiglo faceplate.
