If it is oil (you should be able to tell by the smell) you probably have leakind valve guides. when the bike sits over-night, the oil that is in the cylinder head has time to leak just enough through cracked or worn valve guides for there to be enough oil in the combustion chamber to smoke a bit at start-up. after this oil is burned off it will stop smoking because the oil does not leak into the cylinders because 1.) valve guides dont leak fast enough to cause continuous oil burning; and 2.) the oil is no longer stagnant in the cylinder head, it is being circulates by the forced wet sump system.
Now, if this is indeed the problem, dont sweat it much, the only adverse effect it will have is a 10% to 15% drop in the life of your plugs. Talk to a Kawa mechanic, (I'm a GM mechanic) and see if there is a hotter plug (one with more ceramic center post area) you can run. This should give you back the "normal" amount of spark plug life.

If your butt itches, your fingers probably stink!
