whos got a zx6 or zzr 600 with a flat spot in the midrange? just wonderin if people are putting up with it or if theres actually a fix. get some[:M6]

mine does. i just try to avoid the whole "midrange" altogether

Had one @ 4,000 with the bolt-on. Shimmed the carb needles and no more flat spot. Here's the link: http://www.gstwins.com/zx6r/zx6r_shim.htm

I richened up the idle screws a bit (less than 1/4 turn). Helped low RPM's, but "burbles" a bit when off throttle or idleing. I keep it that way, it definitely runs cooler.
