That is the lamest among the lame. I BEAT A CAR ON MY BIKE! Well duh!?! Heh.. What BIKES have you smoked, say in the hills or on the track? Hate to sound like a jerk, but come on guys, posting what cars youve smoked is like posting what type of candy you stole from babies. ;/

If you're talking about my post about the Junk Honda it wasn't about beating the car, actually I lost because I never passed him.... it was about the thrill of teenage punks thinkin they were cool and me laughing my ass off when the car went airborne and then bottomed out.

DUH!

They were mentioning the cars because they were eager to show the car riders that they were wrong and that they could never win. They were shutting them up for good.

Try this... find a guy with a gixxer 1000 and do a drag from stop. I almost guarantee if you can ride your 6R you'll beat 'em most of the time unless you're running for 1/2 mile or more...

Thing is, even IF the guy can control the bike well enough to keep the front from lifting, he's so excited about not letting a 600 beat him, he'll be overaggressive and force it up anyway. Of course, there are riders out there who CAN really handle a gixxer 1k, but they're pretty few and far between. 'swhy I love 600's so much, just ABUSE that clutch and scream it out to a good lead on those big bore beasts. I do pretty well against them for short races (typical 1/4 mile go's)...

Our regular riding group consists of 4 ZX6R's, a 954 honda, an RC51, 2 R6's, 2 CBR 600's, a Gixxer 1000, a Gixxer 750, a TL1000R, and a VFR honda. One guy on an R6 weighs 135lbs, so he's tough to beat, but outside of that, they can all run pretty tight. That's the fun of motorcycling ain't it?

I have to admit that racing cars against bikes, for the most part, is just a silly waste of time. Although, toying with them can be fun, especially when they truly believe that they've got you beat, or someone's over polished ego is at stake.

I work for a company called Performance Cars Group - specifically, Mercedes-Benz. I've driven every Benz on the market... I've got an AMG SL55 stashed in the back shop - a supercharged 5.5 litre V8 @ 492bhp. I love nothing more than doing a delivery on some tycoon's new toy, and having them rant and rave about the performance.

For example, my boss drives an '02 twin turbo Porsche. Unbelievable car. He hates it when I point out that I can out accelerate, out break, out maneuver, out corner, and have WAY more fun than him, at a mere fraction of the cost! The poor bugger still challenges me to meet him on the nearest freeway for a boot...

When will they learn!

this summer, this guy pulled up next to me in this old, beat-up dodge truck. it was leacking oil and anti-freeze, but he started revving up that inline six like he wanted a piece of me. i dumped the clutch and smoked his ass!! then this hot chick was like, "wow, you must be hung like a horse". point of the story? smoke a guy whose tires dont have one inch chicken strips, then get to bragging.

ha... im not proud that i smoke cars... i jus think its funny. ofcourse there are extremes... like some fast euros and big muscle...

but i think its not that we're smokin vehicles that are slower than us. We're smokin people who think they're faster than us.

I just wanted to get a point across. Many of you guys seem to take pride in beating cars..Let me tell you I know for a fact that no matter how much a guy will try to race you, 99% of people know that race-replica bikes can out-accelerate any street car like it was standing still. All they want is to see us gun the thing like there`s no tomorow. Many times they try to make you pop a wheelie or burnout..
Let me tell you DO NOT let yourself get influenced. It`s the same as running from a cop, you can do it like you normally would, but chances are you will stop thinking clearly, and consequences can be deadly. Just ride within your own means.

go green or go home
