Just out of curiousity, how much are the rims and where are you gettin' them from?
I wouldn't mind getting chrome rims on my bike either. OZ has really nice ones but i think they're like $1600. I've also consider sending in my stock ones for chroming which is like $400. But the #1's looks really sweet, and they're also my vote.
Edit: Guess OZ doesn't have chrome. Only silver, black, and gold; and the price is $1550 (at tricktape)
I personally would go with Dymag Carbons if I were going to buy wheels. We've got some of these down at the Ducati shop and they are freakin sweet. They're really pricey (around 2300 a set) but you can't beat them for look and weight savings. Typical weight is a mere 2.9kg!!
Here's a pic:

(couldn't get the pic to work . Cut and paste the link)
Def #1 The prob w/#2 is that you wont see much of that rim due to the brakes. Such a waste!
