It might be possible, my '95 ZX-6R came stock with a 160 rear and someone had put a 180 on it and it didn't rub. The thing is that a 180 will only make it go slower and handle worse so I can't imagine why you would want to. First thing I did when I got it was to put a 160 back on it.
