this got bumped down to the 2nd page fairly fast, so im sure alot of you missed it, i believe it was posted last week some time. im not taking credit for writing this. it is psycho_penguins work. enjoy.

Welcome to life. The world where everyone is a puppet dangling on the strings held by whichever socieological organization we call ourselves a part of. everyday is the same. wake up, go to work, be a slave for the almighty dollar. go back to the house the bank owns in the car the bank owns. sleep. repeat....and so on.

What happens when bucks the system? what happens when one steps outside the realm of what is deemed respectabe, responsible activity? what becomes of the one who is faced with the descision 4 wheels or 2, and against the majority, chose the latter?

This one experiences life as it was meant. This one finds him/herself slighty north of horizontal as his knee clips the apex of the turn. As he exits, the horizon seems to sink slightly and hover a bit lower than normal just before the tire again meets the tarmac, and at that brief moment he catches a glimpse of heaven before reloading for the next corner. At least for the moment, this one isnt driven to the point of anxiet/insanity by the deafening drone of phones ringing, the all inclusive redundance of the copy machine fax printer combo..Rather he/she welcomes the scream of the exhaust notes rivalled only by the whistle created by the ram-air induction. In this moment, the girl begs for a little more vented frustration, begs to be ridden just a littler harder.

Instead of the smell of stale coffee in a smokey break room, the sweet chemical odor of exhaust fumes fill his nostrils. In the economically driven mindset most common among his peers, those tires would last longer if...wouldnt burn as much gas if...

On the way home, a comfortable, peaceful cruise in the fading twilight, he watches a bobcat cross the road ahead, geese in a green field, the stars begining to blink their eyes and the shadows of night dancing under the trees, and he thinks to himself...

im calling in sick tomorrow.

God Bless, Ride Hard, Ride Safe

There should be a rule about thread titles - one mans piece of classic literature is another mans waste of time.

Worth reading? whatever....
