This is lik ethe third thread this month on it. I am not busting you personally. It doesnt matter if the connectors are the same. Of course they would be as they are both Kawasaki's.

Different motors, different injection system as the 10R only has 4 injectors, the 636 has 8 injectors. So plainly put...

NO it will not work. This is striaght from PowerCommanders site...

Depends on how you wanna use it. In many cases YES!
If you wanna use it to:
Chalk up the wheels to keep it from rolling the garage? Yes
Support the kickstand to keep it from sinking into grass? Yes
zx-6r Manual Paper weight? Yes
etc...

As you can see there are many cases where the zx-10r Powercommander will work for a 636. It all depends on your application
