Yoshi RS-3 bolt-on

Hey guys I am thinking of getting an RS-3 bolt on for my '02 6R. Do they give a noticable increase in power/torque and what do they sound like? I want the exhaust note to be as deep and throaty as possible. Any other slip-ons that offer a better sound. Akrapovic, perhaps?

I really love my RS-3, I've never dyno'd it, so I can't say what it's added, but it certainly feels stronger than stock. It's probably more in my head though cause it's so much louder etc. But everyone who's ridden my bike before the slip-on and after says the same thing. It has a great sound.

But I don't think it's the absolute deepest note out here. I've heard 2Bros has a deep sound. But it's hard to argue with an Akropovic for power. I really like how the Yosh sounds personally, but they're all good as far as I'm concerned. Even the stock can is one of the best sounding OEM's in the business IMO.
Ditto - I'm really happy with my RS-3. As for performance, I didn't notice anything different...but it wasn't like it was slow out of the showroom <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Wolf, I have to agree with both Grunt & Sac. I have the stainless oval and the sound and the look are great. As for performace gain - ? not real sure but Yosh supplied a paper with pipe that compaired an '01, stock & after. They claim stock as 96hp and with the Yosh bolt-on 101hp. Is that correct ??? who knows. I also put a K&N on and did not notice any reason to have to re-jet. I think you'll like it.

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.
