Hi,

Can anyone tell me exactly how to do the mod on the z1000? I have seen a few posts referring to the z750, and showing what to do. Is it exactly the same for the z1000

Is there any benefit to a K&N and a PCIII? or am I kidding myself and wasting money?

I think the only difference is that the air box on the 1000 is facing the front. And on the z750 its facing the rear. Other than that its exactly the same thing, it took me 15 minuts to do it on my z. Check the sticky thread "modding your z1000" near the bottom. Its all there.
