has anyone put a zx10 motor in a 636. Any info or help would be appreciated. I know it sounds like a dumb plan but i thought i might ask if its not that hard.

just sell your 636 and get a zx-10r... easiest way, less costly and no trouble with the law/insurance cause of the swap and serial numbers.

It does not fit. With enough money you could make it fit. Neither the frame nor the swingarm are stiff enough to handle the torque. If you want to go faster go to some track days.

i was just gonna do it as a novelty. I put a Busa motor in a 02' gixxer 1000 and it came out really nice (a little fat though). so i thought i might try the 636 too. Thanks for the reply's though
