Hey I was wondering if anyone has ever put a zx10 rear wheel onto a zx6r? I am looking to put on a 6inch wide wheels to fit the dunlop slicks on there. I know they fit on the 5.5 wide rim, but it does distort the profile a little bit.

*I DONT want this thread to turn into a "why do you need a 6 wide rim or you dont need a 190 rear tire."

I know the 190's work fine. But Dunlop slicks are a 195/70. Its a huge rear tire. It still works fine on the 5.5 rim, but the profile gets distored as you can not get all the way down on the tire. Thats why I want to try it with a 6 wheel and see how it feels. May not like it and want to go back to a 5.5 wheel.

I know! And the slicks were designed for a 6 wheel. When I run Dot tires [211] I can run them on the 5.5 no problem as that is what they were designed for. But when I run slicks, it distorts the tire. Guess I will see if i can borrow a friends zx10 wheel. Or hit up everyone when I am at the track next.
