all the time i read one of the best mobs to do it just to set you suspension correctly for your wieght. but there isnt one article on this entire forum about how to get it done properly. ive read my haynes manual and it only shows how to adjust the rebound compression and dampening but gives no indication on how to set the front and rear shocks for your wieght or what pound rider the bike is setup for in its stock configuration.
so please some one out here with some track experience qith our bike(00-02 zx6r) help us out to get our suspension set up correctly and explain what and why we are doing these changes.

as anyone will tell ya...spring rates are defined for the rider weight and current condition of the suspension components.

the rest is up to the rider's preference...

compression is the easiest to get done first...ie..hitting bumpsthe smack you get first.

rebound is trickier.....more of a series of bumps and how the suspension recovers from the smack's it recieves....

then you have to separate if it is the front or rear no doing their jobs???!!

have at it!!!
