Do Not Order From Motomummy

I placed an order on monday around 1 or 2pm for a 520 conversion kit, i put in the comments saying i need the parts by thursday and saying that i am putting the parts on a zzr insted of the 02 zx6r in which i ordered. i get a response tuesday morning saying that the parts would have do be shipped 2 day shipping and would be 40 dollars and there is a 20 percent restocking fee if they dont fit, i said charge the card and ship it. then the end of the day i get a message saying that "so your okay with the restocking fee if it doesnt fit?"

i say i dont care about the fees whatever i just need it here by thursday just charge the card and ship it!!

the i get it didnt ship out today the earliest i can get it out is tomorrow which shipping will be expensive

i say how much

he says 70 for overnight

i say do it

he says so its ok to charge you 70 for shipping

i say yes charge me 70 for shipping if u would have shipped it monday when i ordered it we could have avoided this but i need the parts so ship it

so now its wendsday i have tried calling this place a million times i have emailed no response i am very upset with this place

dont waste your time with them

Indysuperbikes, Dennis Kirk, Solomoto parts, Motosport. Just a few good ones.
Next time you need something they can help. The last two have free two day shipping.

I've ordered without issue. Just my experience. It was a Slip-on and stomp grips and I got them very fast!

Yeah, no. I'll gladly order from Motomummy again. I've ordered from them several times and all I get is fast shipping. Sounds like you were giving too much information and confusing them. Sprockets/chains for ZX600J model bikes are all the same, ZX-6R 636 and newer also, man. I don't get how there could be such a problem. You fill in some drop boxes, enter credit card, and wait like three days at most. That's what I did with my 520 conversion and TWO days later I come home to my package on the porch. I've never had a problem with them.

Most violated KF rule: 2. - Post titles should be descriptive of the contents of your post. i.e. "Help with fuel injectors" instead of "HELP!!!!"

I, too, have had an awful experience with Motomummy. Prices were great, which is why I was there in the first place, but after they sent me the wrong tank pad and put me through hell trying to get the right one, I would never again use that site for anything. Absolutely inadequate customer service and unacceptable that they would try to charge me to ship back items that they sent by mistake. USE MOTOMUMMY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Just curious...why did you feel the need to tell them this? It probably confused them which is why they kept stressing about the restocking fee.
