Removing dB killers of Ixil exhausts

Hi everybody. I just bought a Z1000 from 2012. It came with ixil 4545 exhausts. Now I find the sound to be very low and I want to remove the baffle / dB killers.

I tried google a lot, but couldnít find a clear way how to remove them. What I did find out is that the baffles are not at the outside (opening) of the exhausts. So to be sure, the photo I attached are not the dB killers right?

I also found out that the dB killers are in the pipe, just before the cat. Is this true? And can anybody explain to me how to remove them? I attached a photo of what I found to be the baffle thatís in the pipe. Thanks in advance!
