Heya guys
I have a 2008 Z1000 that I ride everyday
thinking of upgrading to the new Z1000 but have one problem.

The current Z1000 indicators puts me completely off the new design.

Has anyone attempted to make a mod with integrated front indicators (like the older models had)
how much space is actually under that side faring?
It could be possible to remold/make a new one with the flush mounts from the older models.

I prefer the flush mounts for a number of reasons so I would like them on my new bike too

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I have sent a email to the Kawasaki factory that said they would send it on to the design team, but was curious on what you guys think?

Why would you prefer stalk indicators over the integrated ones?
The integrated ones are larger, more visible yet, sleeker and more aerodynamic.
Just about the whole of the Ninja line has integrated indicators, and the Z series of a few years back also had, and then dropped it, any thoughts on why?
I feel its one of Kawasaki design decisions that put their models in a more futuristic and sleeker bracket than the rest.

If there is anyone that can make fairing molds that could help me develop aftermarket ones... that would also work, but i would prefer if Kawasaki brings this back to the Z series

Money makes the world go round my friend, it's all a matter of cost. Japanese companies are really into the parts bin mentality, just look at Yamaha's famous turn signals for instance, there are a lot of those in the bin :grin2:

Why my humble Er6-n has integrated turn signals and bikes twice the price still have orange cheap things from the eighties? Because the company heads decided that style was a major differentiating factor at the time (and they were right).
