Did the bike actually run when you got it?

Yes the bike ran when I got it. Choppy, but it ran.

Here's some pictures f the work I've done to it over the time I've owned it, including my powder coated rims, paint work, aftermarket parts, and some mock up pics I took over the weekend

Nice build. I wonder how the previous owner sorted the wiring harness as the two are different between the '00-'02 motor and '95-'97 motor.

The previous owner had the harness chopped to hell and back. The guy should never be allowed to touch a wrench in his life again. New harness was installed a few weeks ago and the bike runs much better.

Also cleaned my carbs, huge difference. I had two floats stuck closed and a bunch of gunk in the bases. 97 ZX6r build-imageuploadedbymotorcycle1339941190.849914.jpg
