Whats is going on guys? I have had my 08' ZZR 600 for a few years now and love the ride. I know everyone raves about the stability of the J model Ninjas, but I'v had a few sketchy moments with my ZX coming over the crests of hills at high speeds and such where I get some head shake. Looking to get myself a steering damper, and was wondering if anyone knows the length needed to install one. I'm looking to mount it using that Boss welded to the frame rail like this K Model. Found a nice TOBY on ebay and need to know what size will work. Thanks in advance for the info!
I have 06 ZZR600 and I'm interested too. Don't have money for Scotts Steering Damper. No way I'm paying for GPR. This bike needs something simple.
If anyone already did it please let us know. I would love to explore top mount since it's going to have a better look.
Thanks!
I've searched everywhere for a top linear mount for my 08 zzr600. I've found no name brands on ebay that are made in China but those give me the vibes that they will only work for a couple rides. Seems like there are no sellers of steering stabilizers for the 05-08 zzr models.
Can I buy a steering damper for a zx10r or any bike for that matter and then just buy a mounting bracket that would fit the 08zzr600?
Not sure what to do
Similar situation w 2000 ZX6R, bird cage eliminated, the mount you are referring to is on the frame so I believe I have the mount. I just need the mm size of the front mount?
Glad I came across this post, thanks OP!
Any additional pics or info appreciated, COMPATABILITY with other years/models/zx10r?
Thanks!
