'05 zzr bogging at full throttle

Another problem could be the float bowl height. If you're running the bike hard, the main jets may be sucking the bowls dry, causing it to bog down. The slides work on vacuum to meter the air to the bike, but I doubt that's your issue. Jet kits may or may not come with slide springs, which really only allow the slides to open faster (less resistance from the springs).

Your fuel pump should be fine in my opinion. Mine is original to my 2006 ZZR and it has 54,000 miles on it. I honestly think you're having float bowl height issues. Main jets maybe, but if the bike is otherwise stock besides a modified muffler, you shouldn't need larger jets. I hope I'm wrong, but get a manual and check the float bowl heights when you pull the carbs to install the jet kit.

Sync the carbs. If there's a bigger main jet in that kit, swap them and go for another ride. Tuning carbs can be a trial and error experience. I have to do the same on my fighter; having no ram air makes it a bit tricky, but I'll figure it out.

The pilot screws only affect idle up to maybe 1/8 throttle. After that you're dealing with main jets, needles, and slides.
