I have a 2014 zx10r with 18000 km. The bike has been well maintained and has had absolutely no issues up till now. I road the bike moderately for about 2 hours. Stopped and shut the bike off. When I went to leave no gears will engage. The bike will cycle through all of the gears but they respond like neutral when I disengage the clutch. Does anyone know if there is a sensor that would cause this or is it mechanical?

What's the best course of action when you manage to hit neutral? Usually this happens at a moderate speed, so your options are pulling in the clutch and kicking it into 1st then shifting to 2nd, or going Kodi nox straight into 2nd. If you've just pulled out onto a road stopping isn't really an option. Both cause a very unhappy clunk to occur under you.
