Hello all. I have an interesting one that I a not seem to figure out. My 2023 ZX10R with about 300 miles on is having an issue with The gear shifter. It is fine when up shifting but when I down shift it seems that the bike wont release the shifter to the next gear. I have noticed that if I release the clutch a little that is will release the shifter. I have had several bikes and this is the first time I have Had this issue. I will say, it doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the issue. It seems to be spiratic and in different gears. Any thought and advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

It seems an issue related to the shifter mechanism operating on the shift star. Could be the corresponding spring that loads the shifter shaft in both directions (up or down shifting). Part# 92145B in the diagram below. Could also be a slightly bent shift shaft (I know, it is a new bike... but you know...)
