Just purchased a N650 ABS last week and have had it out on local roads this week. I'm a new rider and this is my first bike beyond a 250-size enduro bike.
I feel like I need more practice on slow-speed maneuvers, especially tighter U-turns, swerves etc. We had all this in the MSF class, but it was on a 250. I'd like to practice all the same stuff on the 650.
Any suggestions ? Do all the same techniques I see on the net for the big cruiser bikes apply to the mid-size sport bikes as well ? (ex: use back brake instead of front break, use clutch control, lean the bike, don't let it get to slow; turn head etc. etc.)..
My thought is to find a parking lot and start with a large radius and then progressively go narrower...
