Just finished mine today, looks awesome! All together it took me about 2 hours...The LED's are very small and I had to be patient when soldering, and I had no experience with that so it took me a minute to find the way that worked best for me...As far as which way the LEDs face, if you look at the LED, it should have a little notch on one of the corners, just look at which direction the notch faces on the original LEDs which should be at the top left corner...Also, there's a little triangle symbol/mark on the circuit board that indicates where the notch on the LED should face...

I've also read about people that got all their blue LEDs to work, but no the red ones...I found that the red LED had to placed the opposite direction of the blue ones, and when the red one initially didn't work, one of the blue ones didn't work either, but once i flipped it around, both worked fine...

I read about having a RGB color changing LED for the nuetral light...When i got my 5mm LED, it had 4 prongs instead of two...does anyone know how to solder this so that it changes color, or do i have to get another type of 5mm RGB LED...Do they make 2 prong RGB 5mm???

I think you need a 2 prong RGB LED. The 2 prong ones scroll through the colors at their own pace, the multiple pronged ones have to be hooked up to change at your choice. Any got their LEDs from sickmods.net? Their 3.80$ shipping is much more reasonable then eLED.com 9$ shipping charge. I ask cause the sickmods.net ones are 110mcd versus the brightest eLED.com ones which are 250mcd. This is regarding the blue surface mount LEDs. Also the stock picture looks different between the two stores. Too bad sickmods.net is out of the RGB 2-prong.

quick question...I have never done any soldering prior to this. I am a lil nervous about doing the mod. I have all my leds, just wondering how you guys got the old solder off the board before installing the new leds??
Just heat it with the iron that you are going to use to attach the new led. Note you do need the pointed small irons to do this as these leds are tiny.

hey would anyone be willing to do this mod for me, I dont want to mess up my board, I just dont think I could get my big gorilla hands to do this.

I have all the LEDS to change the color to blue, and I have a flashing red led for the low gas light.

If anyone thinks they can help a brother out, pm me and we can work somethin out.
