2024 ZX10R just under 400.miles. Hatefull GF rammed bike with car and broke the rear set mount on the left side. Ordered an aftermarket replacement and installed. It seemed to shift ok between 1st and neutral just sitting still, so took out for a road test. Everything seemed ok up until 5th gear, when it made a grinding noise, killed the bike, and wouldn't restart. I don't even know where to start. Initially I thought something with the how the new lever attaches to, and moves the shift arm, and not properly engaging 5th gear. But the sound was horrible and to have it not want to start up worries me. I tried bumping it in gear then tried to start again with nothing but the same straining sound when turning over, and sllower than usual.

First thought is the Gear Change Shaft may have got hit and caused internal issues but that wouldn't explain why it won't start unless it's stuck in Gear now.
