I was told its just pretty much a plug and play type of thing. You unplug shit, label it, drain the liquids, remove bolts, remove engine and installing is the reverse of removal?? Is it really that simple so to speak? I'm an auto body technician so I know how tough it can be to take shit apart and put it back together.. I've had to strip entire interiors out of cars that I've never worked on before and reinstall everything 3-4 weeks later. (without labeling a damn thang)... Engines might be a little tougher as things are bolted on a little tighter.
I wouldn't mind paying someone with experience a few hundred bucks to help me, but I can't dish out $1000+ to a shop thats gonna charge me 20 hours labor when the job shouldn't take that long (Again I'm a technician so I know how that works). So with the Haynes manual, can it be done in a backyard or is it really difficult that a shop should do it?
