Dont forget you are going to want to remove the plugs from the idle screws as well, as this is what controls the mixture from idle up into the low RPM range along with the pilot jet. Mine was very lean when I switched to the Area P. You will need to remove the carbs to do this.

At around 900ft elevation I turned mine 2.75 turns out from fully seated.
 
Going to spend friday at Willow on the dyno and track running race gas getting the main jet and needles set perfect. I'll post the outcome next week.
 
Thats exactly what you should do if you do not have a dyno. Ride it for a few miles and pull a spark plug. if its white, its lean. If its tan, its good. If its black, its rich.
