I recently purchased a Bayou 250 and in doing the oil filter change found there was no tube inside which the filter sits on. New tube and parts are on the way. My question is does any one know which way the tube is inserted. One end is tapered and the other is he circumference of the tube. Both the motor side and the oil cover have recessed areas. Given I did not have one in it when I opened it up and this tube having a bypass piston and spring I dont want to install it backwards and cut the oil off. Any help is welcomed.
