Anyone own anything else before their 6R?

Had a 97 Katana 600. A great starter bike. Couldn't do a wheelie on it to save your life. You could only ride it, and that was a good thing. I have a lot of respect for my new baby, more than I would have if it had been my first bike.

Had a 2002 zx7 but like the 636 much better. Before the zx7 I had a 95 zx6r.

#1 = 91 - Yamaha 350RZ (2-stroke and went like a mother@#$@#)
#2 = 98 - Yamaha YXF-R6 (Not bad, but many shortfalls)
#3 = 02 - Kawasaki ZX-6R (By far the best!)

My first road bike was a 82 honda v45 sabre I got that in 83.next 76 kawikz650
79 harly sporty (it was cool for a sporty)
81 honda cb750f its a black with orange stripe super sport i'm the second owner its for sale if anyone is interested.Anyway nothing compares with my 01 6r. I've had dirt bikes all the way back to '72 i had one of those suzuki trail hopper 50s anyone remember them

Previously owned.

Derbi FDS49 Spanish made trail bike Smallest capacity engine you could buy. Only 49 cubic centimeters.
Honda MBX 74 Japanese small displacement. All you could drive with old Spanish licence A1 (Up to 75 cc bikes only)
Yamaha RD350LC Japanese incredibly fast two stroke bike. Very nice still in my garage waiting for a re buid.
Honda CBR 600 '90 model quite a nice bike but no guts.

Kawasaki Zx6R '99 model superb handling nice engine.. I love it.

Started out on a couple of 50cc's
Moved on to a Z250 scorpion (a lot of fun)
Then when had accident got what i thought was a goodish deal........how nieve i was......i got a GPZ305........by far the worst kawasaki ever made.......<only got it cos parts matched up with the remains of Z250>
Then was out of the biking game for a year due to lack of funds now had me '02 ZX636 since April of last year.......not only does it look stunning as standard but is such fun to ride........i will be learning from it for a while yet tho

)

Moral to the story........learn from your mistakes........never consider a GPZ 305!
