My handlebar turns farther left than right after drop.

So my kickstand didn't stay down and my 2009 ex650 hit hard on the left.

Left mirror snapped clean off so I elected to replace both with 250 mirrors.

Left clutch lever broke nearly in half. Replaced w/ oem.

Forks were tweaked so I retweaked them.

The rubber mount holders for the seems twisted. Replaced w/ OEM.

The shifter is bent. Bent it back but will replace with aftermarket adjustable rearsets....if I can find a set w/ passenger pegs.

Obvious cosmetic damage less worried about that.

Now for the part I haven't a clue... When I do a full turn to the left my handlebar comes closer to the tank than right full turn... Any ideas?

On a side note I wish I knew about you Tony... I might have actually bothered with your sliders. And could have bought parts from you for less. Although it wouldn't have saved the handlebars or forks.

@Tony by tweaked I mean twisted. Youtube video give a better explanation. YouTube - Two Clicks Out 15: Tweeked Triple Clamps

This isn't how I did it exactly. Basically lifted it up with a jack slightly elevated fidgeted with them tell the forks were in line with the wheel.

As far as the handlebar being bent this applies to a few sets of handlebars OEM and AM and I assure you none are bent.

I'm going to the garage now to check the stops. I pray that it's not the steering stem (least that's what he thinks by steering column which isn't listed in the manual or parts layout). PITA! Remove fairings, fairing bracket, front wheel, front forks, handlebar, etc..

Prolly going to end up taking it to the dealer for this one. The steering stops would be a pain anyway.

Now for my findings. I notice the space between the steering stops is greater on the right (of the bike) which stops it from turning to far to the left. No visible damage aside from scratches.

you didn't bend or twist the forks by dropping the bike standing still, trust me.

definitely take it to a shop and tell them you "retweaked the forks" so they can get them properly aligned and find the real cause of your problem.
Riding straight if look down and see one fork further forward and it was more inconvenient to countersteer because I had the right handlebar coming closer while the left further out. Going straight was also annoying because my left arm was always extended further. Now it's not an issue. I rode this sucker for like 6500 miles in the span of 3 months before this happened and I could feel the difference.

Maybe it's unlikely but it did happen. I'll mention it anyhow. Something is twisted further in and I'm not messing with that.

unless you actually crashed, or someone hit the bike with a car while it was parked, there's no way in hell you twisted the forks in the trees unless they weren't properly secured in the first place. just dropping it in place doesn't impart anywhere near enough force to do real damage other than breaking a peg or lever or scratching a bar end.

as for "further in" i dunno what you mean. there is no further in than the triple tree. the steering stem certainly isn't twisted nor the frame.
Further in. Deeper. Harder to get too. Didn't say anything about a specific part. Kind of like sticking your hand in a hole and trying to find the bottom. It'll take more experience than I have to identify the problem. I have experience with tweaked forks on other bikes however. -_-

I got plenty of force. I was getting ready to pull off after starting my bike. I thought my boots laces felt loose left the bars straight, hit the kickstand and hopped off my bike. Apparently the kick stand sprang right back up. And it dropped hard and fast with the help of my body weight pulling it down.

Whatever the reasons are the forks weren't lining up while riding and now they do. It happened maybe they weren't properly torqued like you suggested. Didn't do anything to the bike prior to that was all stock.
