Vandalism on my bike...

So i wake up this morning and go outside to start the bike and my exhaust is falling off...

Apparently someone thought it would be great fun to TAKE the hardware that holds it up by the footpeg. I look at the hanger where it is supported and the rubber bushing and all of the hardware is missing. It wasnt anywhere around and i KNOW it was still there last night because i got home and locked it up and looked over it.

And people think im an ass when i yell at them (or their kids) when they stand around my bike or "just point things out" by touching it. Point proven for why i hate people.

That sucks OP.

Hell of a thing for someone to take. Doesn't make very much sense but then again, it doesn't have to.

I hope you're wrong and find it somewhere nearby so you don't have to find a replacement.

Same thing happened to me with my license plate/bracket. I think they meant to steal my tags but realized they were sliced...so they took the whole plate and the aftermarket bracket with it. Later on, I bought a new bracket but used some better bolts and some red loctite.

It didn't vibrate loose. When I locked it up, the night before I looked straight at it (because I have to reach under the exhaust to loop my locking cables around the swingarm and wheel).

I would have noticed missing parts.

Nothing was on the ground anywhere near my bike or in the neighborhood. I retraced the route I rode that night.

^ for real, someone was trying to steal your shit, not vandalize.

if i were to vandalize anything things wouldn't be missing, it would be broken.

I'm not entirely sure why people insist it fell off from vibration...I told you it was there when I locked it up the night before.
