I'm looking to replace the stock shunt r/r with a mosfet unit, I found the specs for the new mosfet unit I plan on buying but I don't know the specs the the stock r/r unit. Does anyone know the specs for the stock unit or has anyone replaced their stock rectifier with a mosfet based r/r?

MOSFET r/r specs:
Voltage regulator
-Regulator type=Semiconductor, short circuit
-Model=FH001 (SHINDENGEN)
-No-load regulated voltage=14.1 ~ 14.9 V

Rectifier
-Model=FH001 SHINDENGEN)
-Rectifier capacity=35 A
-Withstand voltage=200 V

Stator Coil resistance= 0.15~0.23ohms

i searched but couldn't find anything, sorry if theres a thread on this already

I had a look at the specs in the manuakl but there a bit sparse to say the least.
Although the No load regulated voltage is in the ball park as is the Stator coil Resistance.

A Google search comes up with this mod being very popular with Trumpets amoungst other combatants so i would give it a go and document the conversion for other members to follow.

I can't see the Field Effect Reg/Rect causing any major concerns and they do run cooler.

I installed it last week, straight plug n play with the same connectors as the oem r/r. the only issue i had with install was this new r/r isnt as wide and is a little thicker than oem, the screw holes dont line up and the bolts were too short.

The stock r/r I had on my bike was dead, i replaced it with this fh001 unit and everything is good so far, been riding with it for about a week with no problems.
