I've been looking on Amazon and see mostly Hot Cam shim kits for all but the Ninja 650. where's best to start looking for these shims or a compatable bike shim set. I only need a few since I can swap some out that are out of spec. i'd like to bring them all to the higher gap specs if those shims are available.

Thanks...

They are standard 7.48mm diameter shims, most modern kawis, suzukis, hondas and yamahas use that size, so anything will fit correctly. Sizes are generally 2.8-3.2 but depends on your specific bike. If you don't want to buy a kit (although they are only about 40-50 bucks for a kit that's enough for life (although there are also a lot of useless sizes) you can buy individual pieces from retailers like wemoto, although that's a UK retailer I'm sure there is a US equivalent, if not, I'm sure some independent bike shops would be happy to trade sizes for you, give them your old shims and they'll give you the size you need, might need to pay a little on top, but that's the cheapest way to go if you only need to replace 1 or 2 shims. Last resort, you can buy them directly from kawasaki but at 10 bucks a shim I'd not bother unless it's literally a singular shim you need to replace and juggling them around doesn't work.
