MAIN JET: 110

NEEDLE AND CLIP POSITION: 3rd clip down from top

MIXTURE SCREW SETTINGS: 2.5 turns out

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP: Relocated the main fuse/solenoid assembly from starter to battery to a new position since the 6" filters with stacks need exactly all the way to battery box. It sounds awesome as can be and is running very strong all around at these settings, I notice it pulls to redline much stronger than before but I am still going to try the 112 jet and see if it gets more.

PILOT JET: 38 (Stock)

NEEDLE AND CLIP POSITION: 3rd Position

MIXTURE SCREW SETTINGS: 2.5 Out

ELEVATION: Sea Level

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP:

Much improved over stock. Pulls strong from 3k to 13 K, idles well and fires up on the first rotation of crank. Initially had Idle mix screw at 3.0 out, and ran well, etc,., but seemed some what rich off idle at low speeds. Set to 2.5 out now; seems crisper throttle response, and better low speed pull. Dropped needles from 3rd to 2nd, too lean, kept at 3rd.

MAIN JET: 98

NEEDLE AND CLIP POSITION: 3rd space with 2 washers

MIXTURE SCREW SETTINGS: 3 turns

ELEVATION: ~700

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP:
I bought it used 100% Stock and it would not run cold at the time I went to buy it, owner "Warmed it up" for about 10 minutes and it still ran rough down low (under 3000) very very sluggish throttle response.
The ambient temp was only about 30 degrees F. After installing the jet kit, full exhaust,K&N filter, and removing snorkel the bike runs top notch! while tuning and syncing carbs I kept the garage about 55 deg. F and I can see it runs a touch lean, but will wait for spring to give it a final tweek.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP:

Holy piss where do I begin. So everyone who says the air-box is a real p.i.t.a to remove, there not lying. took me and a friend a long time to disassemble the bike to squeeze it out haha. I'll try to attach a pic. I recommend having a friend help out if your not mechanically inclined (like me lol). Once it was out the carbs are soooo much easier to get to. Definitely worth the trouble. We had so much trouble starting the bike afterwards, (found out it was just the e.c.u not plugged in DOH :Laughing rolling: ) that I couldn't test out the 100 main that i got in the dyno kit. But in the end settled with 112 main, 3rd clip position with 2 washers, and 3 turns out on the mixture screws. Bike seems to love that set-up, low-end is about the same but mid to high revs are really fun. It's a whole new bike. And boy does she roar. I set off about 2-3 car alarms for the first time the other day as I drove by them. Felt pretty good  Still have to sync the carbs and may try other settings but for now, I really like this set-up and recommend it to people who are going down my direction. :)

JET KIT OR STOCK? DJ

BRAND OF JET KIT? Leftover DJ Mains

MAIN JET: DJ98

NEEDLE AND CLIP POSITION: Stock Needles, 1 Washer

MIXTURE SCREW SETTINGS: I'd say 2.6

ELEVATION: Los Angeles, Orange County, Long Beach = Misc

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP: I've removed the CA emissions, added the fuel filter to the gas tank. Idle is at 1.5k. I probably need to raise the idle mixture screws, but for about $15 including carb sync this setup can't be beat. Bike pulls way better than stock and is a blast to ride.

Also, I originally bought some "Keihin" 100's that were actually brand AB 100. These were a bit rich and I like the DJ98's, which I scavenged from ForeverBlake, a lot.

EDIT: Also I have a bit of popping from my exhaust, nothing really bad just barely noticeable, should I remove the Kleen Air lines/Resync carbs?

Decided to go pod filters before tearing back in and WHAM! I have to watch out for redline like never before. Now plugs are light brown and it runs, sounds, and pulls amazing!

MIXTURE SCREW SETTINGS: 2 3/4

ELEVATION: 800ish I think. Minneapolis, MN

MISCELLANESOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR BIKE’S JETTING SETUP:
I did all my engine mods yesterday at the same time, save for shimming 2 washers last year. I decided to take the bike to school 60mi each way to see how it runs through the entire range. At first I had the screws at 2 1/2 out but the tach was all over the place with trouble keeping it running when cold before leaving this morning. Turned them out another quarter after I got home from school today, and it started right up with a steady RPM. I also pulled the plugs to see if I was too lean/rich, they looked to be about the perfect color. Figured a 60mi ride with a final WOT once I got in the garage would give me an accurate read (pic posted below).

In regards to performance difference. I love it, the exhaust has a nice deep tone with a little burble on deccel, and I had mild power wheelie on a 1-2 shift. Being that my bike is fightered the airbox delete also adds a lot to the bike visually.

ive got pretty much the same exact setup. i put 3 washers under the needle with the clip being at the 3rd position and adjusted the fuel mixture screws until i got good throttle without it dying in power after letting off the throttle. i guess it was a big rich until i did some adjustments.
