hey ben 2 questions for ya.
I need a new rad in my 99 zx6r what can I use to replace this.?
98-04? or will that 05 rad I see you have for sale work with a little bit of work?
Second one is would an 03 636 clutch cover(right side case) fit on my 99 block?
thanks alot
Adam

Oh and PM me a price if you wanna send that rad up to Canada if it'll fit.
Well the difference in the radiators is that the 03/04 is smaller, but just as effective, and has a fan switch built into it like the 98-02 though it has a different plug on it. The 05/06 is the same size as the 03/04 but it doesn't have the fan switch in it, the fan is controlled by the ECM on the 05/06. Also sense they are not as bit you wont have the lower support like you do on the fairings of the 98-02, but if you make a bracket or what not it will work fine. I noticed a 98 radiator for sale in the section, but it looked bent. But to answer your question, they all have the same hose connections in the same spot, just radiator size is different.

As for clutch cover and stator covers, i have no idea if the 636 ones fit, i really should have tried them when i had my 636 its something i think about all the time. I may buy a set of rashed up ones just to find out once and for all. They look like they mount the same, but maybe not???

Yeah i didn't post it up in here as it will not fit, i only posted parts that fit, and i have tested. THe ZX9R engine is wider and could not be swapped without major major frame modification. It would be easier to swap a ZX10R engine and make new mounts as its smaller. BTW there are TONS AND TONS of posts asking about the ZX9R engine...

I searched I swear. =D

I'm totally new, but what kind of stuff would I need to do to make a '10 engine fit? I'm kinda going for the ZZR-sleeper attitude.
New engine mounts welded to the frame, entire wiring and throttle body setup from a 10, custom make an airbox etc...

half the cost of a ZX10r
well that depends on your skills.... I also dump butt loads of money into my bike as i am not like everyone else, i don't want to have remotely the same bike as anyone, honestly, there are very few true custom bikes out there, even all those chromed out stretched bikes, there are tons the same way, there are not bikes even similar to mine, but you pay to play, and if you cant pay, don't play....

what about seats? It seems that all the seats from 98-02 ZX6R, and 9R models seem to be relatively similar, if not the same (also the entire rear subframes and rear cowls, taillights etc).

Anyone know?

Even the fairings, headlights look the same, and the side fairings look like they would fit the 6R...

i have ridden the 9r and see it often. It is certainly wider, to me it either feels like a monster or a cow...depending how fast I'm going! Other than that almost everything looks exactly the same.
