I want to get on the list, so h7 is the bulbs I need? I'm going to get on it now I'm thinking 6k hopefully that would get more light on the road than glare around the headlight.

A couple of links from me- first is a post in Kelly's let's get nekkid thread that has a link to a PDF I created to keep track of the screws,
While Kelly's DIY is great as far as helping us to know where things are, I found that it didn't do much to help me keep screws organized when my 3-year old was determined to 'help' ...

over on 250.org they had a picture with callouts for the screw holes that you could print and drill-out the holes to put the screws in and keep them organized - this was great, but only for the pregens, so I decided to make my own yesterday - here is a link to it if it can help anyone....

i don't know if you've tried it on their site before, but if you look at the parts diagram there and then click on the item number it will put a box around the number in the picture for you...
If you click on the part number it will bring up a little supplier info box and you can click on the yellow ? and it will tell you what models use the part... even better if you click on the model it will show you the areas of the bike that use it, and if you click on the area it will take you to the exploded picture with the part number inside a red box in the picture...
I'm guessing you knew this, but maybe if others are looking for the info and find this on a search it will help them?

I like the changes... much easier to find stuff. Thanks for keeping up with the updates that happen on the forum. I'm sure the ones that mod appreciate your efforts... I know I do. :)

Im looking for a hid install walkthrough. What plastics do you need to remove to get to the lights. How to remove them? Where do you mount the ballast any help woukd be great

I removed the airbonx, added yoshi slip on, removed kleen air and installed factory pro stage three jet kit. Put it all together. Then

Now it starts, idles and once it warms up, I pull the throttle. It bogs out and shits off imediatly...WHats up?


Any suggestions?

Put the carb needle back together in the right order!!!!!

What a huge change in performance. Its a new animal. It now has the torque I was looking for.

(who the hell decided to put the rubber bellows in the carb? Who ever it was, I hate your Guts!:buzzsaw:)

Hey guys I would have made this a thread but can’t yet. Mod thread seems only reasonable place.

Anyways I just got my first bike, a 2008 250 very excited. Being new to the motorcycle world and looking at all the sweet pictures of everyone’s tricked out bikes I want to start messing around with mine not only to make it look good but also as a learning experience. I have already put a two brother’s exhaust slip-on on but found it a bit too loud for my liking, although it did sound very nice just not what I was looking for. I have also purchased a fender eliminator but haven’t put it on yet.

What I am asking is if you guys could recommend what I do from here maybe some of those mods you just can’t live without. Even stuff as simple as saying the grips on the handle bars should be replace with better ones... you know that kind of stuff that an experienced biker would already know. I am all ears!

I guess the best way I learn is to get hands deep in something so I am looking for some help in where to get started.
